After a nice Father's Day luncheon out at Rockford Farms, we went over the Clarksville, Missouri to check out the rising Mississippi. At first we just wanted to take some pictures and leave, though we wandered over to historic Elgin Cattrell house and had to help. I am exhausted from sandbagging over three hours. They still need help and the river is still rising. If you have any extra time this week, go to Clarksville and someone will put you to work. My two brothers, sister-in-law, two sons, four nephews and my second cousin and her friend all pitched in.
